Assistance, empathy, partnerships and camaraderie are a just few driving forces behind the Austin, Texas Capital Factory. The Capital Factory is the brain child of entrepreneur Josh Baer and the Austin Chamber of Commerce. Founded in 2009 the collaboration gives budding tech companies a place to get started and find investors.

With a tech dream’s office space in Austin’s thriving downtown, Capital Factory can accommodate several start-ups and gives them the opportunity to mingle and form partnerships. It is designed to give start-ups a more affordable space and at the same time bring innovation to the Texas metropolis.

Austin is a growing tech hot spot and the Capital Factory is just one way the city is able to compete against other cities, such as New York.
