362 VIEWSAccording to a study done by ZoneAlarm, comprised of Generation Y and Baby Boomers from primarily English speaking countries, there is definitely a difference in how the two groups see and handle personal web security.
Baby Boomers seems to be more worried their information will be compromised through phishing scams, whereas Gen Y is more concerned about attacks coming from social networks and P2P. One of the few statistics the two generations have in common is the choice to store personal information such as passwords, tax returns, etc. on unprotected machines.
Even though Gen Y may not be protecting their personal information that well, companies are still turning to them for protection from hackers.
